A female singer with curly blonde hair performs on a stage with red curtains and purple lighting. She wears a black leather dress, matching shorts, and knee-high boots. She holds a microphone in her right hand and raises her left arm. There are musical instruments on stage, including guitars and drums, with a person in the audience in the foreground.

Unfiltered Unpaid Unapologetic

Letters on the Fridge was born out of the kind of love for music that can’t be taught — the kind that keeps you up at night, rewinding a verse, replaying a chord, wondering how did they come up with that?

It started with two best friends — a visual storyteller and a musician, two people who saw something deeper in music than charts or streams. Being in the industry, they’ve watched the machine work from the inside. They've seen the gatekeeping, the favoritism, the blogs that chase the hype and miss the heart. So they said: let’s do it our way.

Our Mission

We’re here to shine a light on the raw, the real, the deeply human side of music.
Not the overproduced press kit. Not the label-blessed story.
We’re after the soul in the sound — the artistry that gets overlooked because it doesn’t come with a marketing budget.

We give real reviews. Honest takes. No industry fluff, no backroom politics. We talk to artists like they’re people, not products. And we cover music events with the same energy we’d bring if we were in the crowd — sweaty, screaming, and completely in it.

Who We Speak To

We’re writing for the ones who care.
The fans who want to discover something that hits different.
The industry folks who crave insight with edge.
The listeners looking to dig deeper, hear louder, and feel more.
Whether you’re making music or just can’t live without it — welcome. You’re one of us.

What We Cover

We cover everything — if it moves us, it gets covered.
From deep dives into albums and songs to one-on-ones with artists who deserve more light. From on-the-ground takes at live shows to cultural commentary about where the sound is headed. Our ears are open, and our minds stay wide.

We don’t limit ourselves by genre, but you’ll feel the pulse of the culture in everything we do.

Why We’re Different

Most outlets tell you what’s hot.
We tell you what’s honest.

We don’t follow trends — we follow the feeling.
And we actually listen — to artists, to fans, to the people shaping music from the ground up. Our reviews aren’t softened for access or paid for by PR teams. When we say we love something, we mean it. When we don’t? We’ll tell you why — with respect and realness.

Where We’re Going

We’re building more than a blog — this is a movement.
A growing platform that’s setting its sights on the stage.

We’re working toward collaborations with artists, curating our own festival, and releasing exclusive merch that feels as real as the words we write. We want to bring community into the music media space — not just commentary. Something you can wear, join, show up to.

We’re not here to fit into the industry. We’re here to push it forward.

So yeah — stick your letter on the fridge. We’re building something, and its loud.
